Welcome to Broadland Conservatives
The members of the Broadland Conservative Association welcome you to our website. Please visit all areas of the site to gain an insight into our news, aims and the people who are concerned with the Association. This is a new site and will over the following weeks progress and develop into what we hope will be a valuable source of information on the Conservative Party in Broadland.
The Broadland County Constituency which the Association serves covers an area from Acle near Great Yarmouth in the East to Fakenham in the north west. More than 73,000 people live in the constituency, which is one of the most beautiful in the country, with rolling farmland to the west and the flat marshes of the Broads to the east.
Our Member of Parliament is Keith Simpson MP, whose website can be found here: www.keithsimpson.com.
For local government the Constituency is served by Norfolk County Council (www.norfolk.gov.uk ) and two District Councils. Broadland, which is located at Thorpe St Andrew, ( www.broadland.gov.uk ), containing the majority of the residents and North Norfolk ( www.north-norfolk.gov.uk ) which serves the people living around Fakenham and the Walsinghams, and which is based at Cromer.
The Association has an office centrally placed at Attlebridge and is open Monday to Friday 0900-1600. Kate Millbank is the Association full time organiser and can be contacted by telephone on 01603 865763 or by email on organiser@broadlandconservatives.org.uk. Please feel free to contact Kate for any information on how you can help or join the Conservative Party.
